Intro to Tablature / Ode To Joy

Tablature is an easy way to learn new melodies on the guitar.  A nice example we learned in class was ‘Ode To Joy’ by Ludwig Van Beethoven.

An Introduction To Tablature

Hey, if you’re looking for a challenge on the guitar, look no further!  Here is a video, (there is an ad at the beginning, but ignore that) on how to read tablature.  You’ll notice that the first chord he plays is a D chord, so use that for reference.
